"Building a new home as your own general contractor presents challenges. I searched for an excavating contractor to estabish a new 600 foot driveway on my lot. Tommy Crowder came up at the top of the list. Like his other reviews, he is prompt in returning your calls, provides a faiir and honest assessment of what you need and provides suggestions to your project to make it better. He keeps constant communication during the project and sends plenty of pictures, which is helpful if you live out of state. Read his other reviews and you will see why folks recommend him. I will be using Tommy Crowder for my excavating and septic installation needs as we build our home."

"Tommy has been a huge help in our process of purchasing and developing a property in Cosby. He advised us on septic placement, coordinated electric hookup for our camper and for building, removed trees, dug trenches, graded a gravel driveway and made us a camper pad which is perfectly level. He made many extra trips out for us, helped work out the least disruptive solution for power access with our neighbor, and most importantly always picks up the phone. We are grateful for his work and highly recommend!"

Great Contractor to Work With

"During a time of a lot of construction going on, Tommy answered my call for a driveway estimate on a new lot and came out within just a couple of days. He was very helpful with pointers on my lack of knowledge of building in the mountains and always kept in contact. Because of the workload at the time, it took a few months for the job to be completed (which I had stated that I was not in a huge hurry), but he always returned my calls, kept me updated, and was honest about his workload/timing. The job was just completed last month, and it looks great. He came out, met with me before starting, and took care of everything that was requested (since I live in another state, it is great to have someone to trust). He takes pride in his work, as the final product looks great and is very cleanly done. I will definitely use Mr. Crowder for any future projects. "
